This photo is NOT a simulation! This is a before and after case of how a smile can change your life.

We offer all our patients of record a complimentary COSMETIC SIMULATION . This is a fantastic way to actually SEE the potential in your smile ... in your face. We do this at NO CHARGE. Ask us next time you are in the office if you have not already had a simulation done. You might be surprised at the potential a small ... or even a major change can make. Sometimes the simplest changes can make a huge difference in a smile.
Cosmetic Gum Contouring

With Waterlase Dentistry™, we can help create the smile you've always wanted. Ask our lead dental assistant to answer all your questions. This example shows the result of simply lengthening the anterior teeth and bleaching.
Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are customized, thin, semi-translucent "shells" of porcelain. Typically, they are permanently bonded to your teeth. Some of the most amazing cosmetic changes we've seen have been with veneers. Generally, veneers require only small amounts of enamel preparation sometimes none at all.
Cosmetic Bonding
Bonding is a common solution for:
-
Fixing or repairing chipped or cracked teeth
-
Reducing unsightly gaps or spaces between teeth
-
Hiding discoloration or faded areas on the surface of teeth.
Unlike veneers or crowns, composite bonding removes little, if any of the original tooth. Advantages include:
-
It is a quick process, usually lasting less than an hour.
-
It does not reduce the tooth's original structure and is relatively inexpensive.
-
Composite resins come in many shades and provide excellent matching to the natural color of your teeth.
-
Composite bonds, however, are not as durable and long-lasting as veneers or crowns and may need to be re-touched or replaced in the future.

Crowns
A crown is a permanent covering that fits over an original tooth that is either decayed, damaged or cracked. Cosmetically a crown is generally reserved for a tooth that is located too far posteriorly and under more stress or broken down too severely for a veneer. As mentioned before, many crowns are done in our office with the CAD/CAM, Cerec system, but we also offer traditional laboratory fabricated crowns for specific situations.
The treatment plan for a patient receiving a laboratory fabricated crown involves:
-
Numbing the tooth to remove the decay in and around it.
-
Re-sculpturing the tooth to provide an ideal fit for the crown.
-
Making an impression of your teeth, in order to create a custom-made crown. (This usually takes one-to-two weeks.)
-
Making a temporary crown out of acrylic resin and fitting it onto the tooth while your custom-made crown is being created.
-
Removing the temporary crown and cementing the permanent one into place.
The complete process usually consists of a couple of visits. Given proper care, a crown can last a lifetime.
Dental Bridges
A bridge is a dental device that fills a space that a tooth previously occupied. A bridge may be necessary to prevent:
-
Shifting of the teeth, which can cause bite problems, jaw or joint problems, and may contribute to the development and progression of periodontal disease.
-
Bridges safeguard the integrity of existing teeth and help maintain a healthy, vibrant smile.
